Blue Lady

This is my entry for the Summer of Color this week. Our first color: Blue! We can use any shade, however we like. I decided to do an art journal page. I tend to use a lot of the same colors in my work so this exercise in color each week will help me with that challenge, I think.

I'm excited to see a few familiar faces in the participant list plus it looks like I'll meet a lot of new artists as well. Check it out!

Great portrait and I like the collage effect showing through- I've already been following you and it was fun to see you participating here too - I'm looking forward to the color prompts to help inspire me to try something new each week.

your expansion into uses of new colors reminds me i need to find ways to expand my writing in the same way. i tend to use a lot of the same words over and over, as if all words can be lumped into color categories and i always end up picking my favorite shades.

Wonderful portrait! I would find it very difficult to work with one color like that.

Hi Pam,
