Remaining an Artist

Digital Journal Page

This is a part of a painting I'm working on. The girl is my drawing scanned into Photoshop. The rest is digital. I thought she would fit nicely on a digital background. When I finish the canvas I'll post here. And yes, this is part of my new banner.  :)

This piece is amazing, Pam - as is the quote. It looks great as your new banner too!

Cyber hugs coming your way, Jenny. It's good to see you back blogging. :)

I just found your blog on Paint Party Friday and have been taking a look back at your work. I wanted to say how much I particularly love your oil painting. 'In from the Cold' It is simply beautiful.

Thank you so much, Fuzzie Fingers! It's one of my favorites, too. ;)

This is a perfect quote and wonderful illustration of it. I have a class on my http://purplemooseheartart.com site called "I Don't Want To Grow Up," and it's all about that very idea of remaining an artist once we grow up, keeping the childlike innocence of not expecting perfection.

Yes, Bill, letting go of perfection is still a problem for me. More fun to just play!! ;)
