Where the Light Enters: Journal Page

"The wound is the place were the Light enters you." -- Rumi

I'm back from my trip to Ohio. It was a blast seeing my friend again (and my sister stopped by)! Of course the time went too fast; it always does. But eventually you have to return to reality, I guess.  ;-)

I did manage to stop by Blick's Art Supply while I was in town and picked up a few goodies I hope to try out soon. My Muse also seems to have taken a vacation but she hasn't returned yet. I expect she'll show up here eventually. In the meantime I've been working in my art journal and finished this page last night.

This is my entry for Paint Party Friday. Be sure to check them out. Maybe I'll run into my Muse there!  ;-)

Have a great weekend everybody!

She's lovely as is the flower. I've managed to never live by a Blicks which I think is probably a good thing! Enjoy your new supplies!

I think she is beautiful! And I love the colours and gradation.
Mus(e)ic usually works for you Pam... worth a try?!

The quote you chose for this journal page is perfect with the way the colors radiate! Perhaps your muse will pop by for a visit to see your wonderful page!

What a beautiful art journal page. I like the expression on her face, somehow peaceful. I haven't worked in my art journal for ages - my muse is on vacation as well, I guess, or in a rather lazy mood.

Lovely quote! The woman in your journal page painting looks very serene.

I bet your muse is on vacation. Sipping drinks on a beach somewhere. Or maybe taking in the sights and buying lots of shoes. She's bound to come home soon.

Happy PPF!

Beautiful journal page Pam; like her delicate look.
Your new art supplies from Blicks and a few afternoons with PPF group should start the wheels turning, if not ,books and music always helps me ; )

As soon as I saw this, I thought the colors are so beautiful. Your muse never leaves you. Your work is always too wonderful to believe that.

Oh, those dreamy colours around a dreaming or meditating woman. The play with blue and red. The mysterious ribbon. The many possible meanings the flower may have - awareness, love, life?
