This painting came from a sketch I did one night. It wouldn't leave me alone; I even dreamed about it. So I had to paint it. Poor thing, I know how she feels. Strange how things take hold of you. Maybe it's from lack of sleep. ;)

It made me smile. I don't know what a good full night's sleep is anymore. I wake up tired and go to bed tired. Unfortunately, going to bed is when my brain goes haywire. I should try painting that one day.

I can relate with the quote and with your painting. There are a lot of factors why we remain where we are doing the thing we don't want to do. But we do have a choice but the point is to have courage and step up in achieving our dreams. Great expression!
Love that quote! I have a lot of images in my head, but I can't paint or draw a lick, so they are just stuck there. Nice one! The contrast between the painted portion and the stark white is awesome...
